Sabina Dang, MD is a otolaryngologist – head and neck surgeon. A Huntsville native and valedictorian of Randolph School, Dr. Sabina Dang went on to graduate summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2020.
Dr. Dang completed her residency training in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at the highly regarded Washington University in St. Louis, finishing in 2025. During residency, she distinguished herself through research, teaching, and clinical excellence, contributing to peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national otolaryngology meetings.
Her research has been published in leading journals, covering topics such as cochlear implant outcomes, vestibular schwannoma surgery, sinus surgery, and social determinants of health in airway disease. She has also presented her work at major national conferences, reflecting her commitment to advancing the field.
Dr. Dang’s clinical interests include otology and cochlear implants, sinus and nasal surgery, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, salivary gland disease, airway disorders, and voice and swallowing concerns. She also has experience in the diagnosis and management of head and neck tumors. She is the only provider in north alabama offering cochlear implants.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the Association of Women Surgeons, and the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy. Dedicated to service, she has participated in international and local medical missions, including annual head and neck surgery outreach in Kenya and community cancer screenings.
In her free time, Dr. Dang enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with her family.
