Dr. Neeta Kohli-Dang completed her undergraduate and medical training at the University of Toronto from where she graduated with Honors. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Toronto, including the world famous Hospital for Sick Children, which provides extensive pediatric training. She is board-certified in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Neeta Kohli-Dang has had a successful and busy practice for many years with vastexperience in the treatment of ear, nose and throat disorders, both pediatric and adult. She is particularly interested in treating conditions such as ear infections, dizziness, eustachian tube dysfunction, nasal obstruction, chronic sinusitis, post nasal drainage, hoarseness, and difficulty swallowing. She uses the latest techniques including computer-guided sinus surgery, radiofrequency ablation, VivAer, eustachian tube dilation, and balloon sinuplasty. Based on her vast experience, she was selected to participate in a nationwide REMODEL study which focused on the effectiveness of balloon sinuplasty for chronic sinusitis.
She has been Chief of Otolaryngology at Huntsville Hospital, and a member of their Surgical and Clinical Review Committee. She has served as a Trustee of the Board of Directors at Crestwood Hospital and a member of Crestwood’s Physician Leadership Group. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Congressman Bud Cramer recognized her as a Local Legend of Alabama in 2004.
Dr. Neeta Kohli-Dang was awarded Physician Supporter of the Year Award by the NorthAlabama Nurse Practitioner Association (NANPA) in recognition of her outstanding support for Nurse Practitioners in the Tennessee Valley area. She has repeatedly lectured at the North Alabama Nurse Practitioner Symposium to an audience of over 300 Nurse Practitioners.
She has actively participated and performed for
Dancing with the Heals at the Von Braun Centre, raising over a hundred thousand dollars to provide free medical and dental care to Huntsville and Madison County children.
She is married to Dr. Paul Dang (Oncology) and has four children and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys pilates, strength training, walking, piano, dance, and gourmet cooking.
